In October 2007, River Inn of Harbor Town opened its doors, offering Memphis visitors an entirely new lodging experience. Situated close to the Mighty Mississippi River in Downtown's Harbor Town neighborhood, River Inn is a small boutique hotel where the history of the Old South meets the charm of classic Europe. Our luxurious rooms, suites and penthouses contain comfortable, traditional, and historic decor, along with sweeping river views. In addition to our boutique-style lodging experience, guests and neighbors can enjoy dining in our two restaurants: Currents, offering fine dining, and Tugs, featuring a casual atmosphere and moderate fare. The River Inn is a 28 Room/Suite luxurious Boutique Hotel, with the ambiance of a European style small luxury hotel with some flair of New Orleans. The Hotel features 'Currents' as a fine dining restaurant and 'Tugs' as your casual neighborhood grill. Each floor features a small library and the rooms/suites have river view and a window that opens to enjoy the view and window box in front. All rooms enjoy luxury amenities with Frette Linen, bathrobes, slippers, 32' flat TV, DVD players and the most comfortable four poster Beds.

"This was the second time that I have stayed at this hotel and was equally pleased with the amenities. My only complaint was that the room I stayed in the first time was better appointed and larger than the one on my most recent stay. I assumed that they might have given me the better room because it was my first time at the hotel. Either way, this is a great hotel and I plan on returning often. Maybe next time I will upgrade to the larger room."

The Natchez Suite is one of our Penthouse suites with a beautiful view of the Mississippi River and features a fire place, over sized bathroom, wet bar in the living room and the most comfortable bed and pillows. Very warm and cozy decor.
