Set along the shores of Lake Como, Il Sereno Lago di Como is a contemporary ultra-luxury hotel. Designed by Milan-based designer Patricia Urquiola, the hotel incorporates both its natural and historical surroundings.

The hotel's 30 sleek guest suites have floor-to-ceiling windows, many with water views and private terraces. There are modern work desks, reading chairs, and bathrooms with rain showers and bathtubs.

The Ristorante Berton Al Lago is an upscale restaurant designed by Patricia Urquiola with arched windows providing views of Lake Como. Serving chef-prepared cuisine, the restaurant offers a variety of entrees that incorporate the flavors of the crossroads of Italian cuisine.

For recreation, the property has Riva Boat rentals for touring the lake, as well as a fitness center, and swimming pool. There's also wine tasting and cooking classes, plus hiking, golf, and shopping nearby.
