The luxury Heritage Golf and Spa Resort is nestled in the quaint village of Killenard, 53 miles from Dublin, near Portlaoise, Co. Laois in the heart of Ireland. This unique resort comprises of a luxury hotel, conference and exhibition Ccentre, the Seve Ballesteros and Jeff Howes co-designed 18 hole championship golf course combined with the Seve Ballesteros "Natural" Golf School, a luxury Spa featuring Pevonia Botanica spa products, floodlit walking and jogging track, Health Club and the international indoor Bowls Stadium.

The resort's luxury hotel overlooks the Seve Ballesteros and Jeff Howes co-designed Championship golf course and the Slieve Bloom Mountains. With its luxury accommodation, sumptuous cuisine, state of the art conference & meeting facilities, this hotel boasts the warm welcoming atmosphere of a country retreat. The Heritage Golf and Spa Resort also features an International Bowls Arena along with its Resort Spa with 20 Treatment Rooms and over 70 wonderful treatments to select from.

International Bowls at The Heritage boasts the only indoor Stadium in the Republic of Ireland. Consisting of eight rinks the Bowls Stadium, which is of a Championship standard, played host to 32 competitors from six countries in the first ever Heritage Classic, held in October 2004. Furnished outdoor terraces on all three levels of the Clubhouse offer panoramic views of the resort and the beautiful Laois countryside.

"The Heritage golf and spa in Killenard is a beautiful hotel only an hour from Dublin. The rooms were gorgeous, lots of space and fantastic bathrooms. The spa experience was well worth doing. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and the restaurant and bar food were great. The experience was so enjoyable I was back a week later for more pampering. The only disappointment was all treatments were booked out, so book in advance."

The Heritage a 72, par Championship golf course, designed by Seve Ballesteros and Jeff Howes is set in the beautiful rolling countryside of Co. Laois, just one hour from Dublin, with the Slieve Bloom Mountains as a backdrop. This championship golf course provides the most enjoyable experience for golfers of all standards in Ireland. Five lakes and a stream that meanders through the course brings water into play on 10 holes. 98 beautifully shaped bunkers and 7,000 trees adorn the landscape, which is very gently undulating without any climbing involved. A variety of tees allow the course to be played from 5,747 to 7,319 yards.
