Excellent

Excellent romantic hotel. Located near shopping areas. Great rooms and fantastic service.

Inspired by the Roaring Twenties, The Spectator Hotel is a boutique property in the heart of downtown Charleston. Combining the charm of the Southern belle, flair of the flapper, and elegance of the socialite, the award-winning luxury hotel is close to the city's French Quarter and Market Districts.

The 41-room boutique hotel's accommodations combine Southern elegance with Art Deco-influenced accents and modern amenities such as sleek dark wood furniture and headboards with velvet-tufted insets. Gourmet continental breakfast is delivered daily to the door, and pampering bathrooms have white Carrera marble, double vanities, heated towel racks, floor-to-ceiling tile and glass showers.

The Bar is designed to evoke the exuberance and feel of 1920s speakeasies and the Jazz Age, with artisan cocktails, velvet furniture, and elegant woodworking.

Across the street from the historic Charleston City Market, and within walking distance of the harbor, French Quarter, and Market District, the property is close to the city's top restaurants, boutiques, and historic attractions.
