Located in the heart of downtown, the W Seattle just completed an extensive renovation that reflects the city's Pacific Northwest culture and influences. The W Seattle just took the wraps off a renovation that draws inspiration from the city’s music scene.
The project, which included all of the hotel’s 415 guestrooms and nine suites, as well as its Living Room lobby, Trace restaurant and event spaces, was helmed by design firm Krause + Sawyer, along with the W Hotels design team. Continue reading below the photo.
The lobby now has grand wooden “lodge poles” in a nod to the Northwest’s Native American culture, as well as tree-ring flooring and a DJ booth crafted from an aviation turbine. The guestrooms have been redesigned in an “urban lodge” style, with a headboard “Lodge Wall” of stacked wood beams backlit by LED lights serving as the focal point. Read more below the photo.
Looking ahead, W Seattle will soon debut the brand’s first W Sound Suite in North America. Perfect for music lovers, the suite will give guests a chance to make music on the road in a professional studio and writer's room.
