There's a new King in Memphis, well a new King of Hotels that is.
The Guest House at Graceland is set to open October 27, 2016. Inspired by Elvis' iconic home, the 450-room hotel will reflect Elvis' personal style and the Graceland estate. Created to feel like an extension of Elvis' home, Priscilla Presley oversaw the interior designs for much of the property, including the hotel's 20 themed specialty suites, such as the Taking Care of Business Suites. Continue reading below the photos.
The luxury hotel will have spacious and contemporary accommodations with upscale amenities and Elvis-inspired details. There will be two full-service restaurants, large outdoor pool, a 464-seat theater for live music performances and movie premieres, as well as expansive meeting spaces. Read more below.
If spending the night at the Guesthouse at Graceland isn’t enough, the new Elvis: Past, Present & Future is set to open across the street from Graceland in the Spring of 2017. The 200,000-square-foot entertainment complex is five times the size of the current visitor center, and will feature a variety of exhibits including the Automobile Museum, Performance Soundstage with live music performances and movie screenings, discovery exhibits, restaurants and more.

And we thought The Peabody was known for its ducks! (Their daily parade to the lobby's marble fountain has been termed a "must-visit Memphis attraction.) But The Peabody Memphis has a lot more than waddling mallards to entertain its guests. When it's summertime in Memphis, it's Rooftop Party season at The Peabody: "with hot bands, cool drinks, and sky-high views of the sun setting over the Mississippi River." The best part of all? The weekend starts on Thursday night. Here are the deets:
"Named among the "Top 10 Rooftop Bars" by Gadling.com and voted "Best Pick Up Joint" by the Memphis Flyer, Peabody Rooftop Parties take place on Thursdays during the summer from 6 - 11 p.m. Admission is $10 and includes one drink. Free admission for ladies until 7 p.m. VIP Season Passes are available for $75. As the most rocking hotel in Memphis TN, our parties feature hosts Maney, Drex, Riley, and Alexis from Q107.5 FM, DJ Mark Anderson and the best live entertainment in the Mid-South. Runs through August 11."
A portion of the profits from every Rooftop Party ticket sold benefits the Memphis Music Foundation to help foster up-and-coming Memphis artists.
