By: Five Star Alliance

Villa Florentine has a pool for all seasons. With a breath-taking view over the rooftops of Lyon's Old Town, the heated pool and jacuzzi with magnificent view are perfect for relaxing. In summer, guests can lie quietly by the water's edge, or hide away in one of the secluded alcoves close to the pool. In winter, two heated marble loungers will keep guests cozy whilst they contemplate the city lights or the snow-covered rooftops of Lyon's Old Town.

QUESTION: We are a traveling to Lyon and would like a hotel that has a separate bathtub and shower in the room, What do you recommend?

ANSWER: Villa Florentine

This splendid villa, offering sublime panoramic views of Lyon, certainly lives up to its name. Everything from its elegant facade to its sunny rooms, furnished with a mixture of Renaissance refinement and contemporary Italian design, has a sumptuous Florentine feel to it. Savour refined cuisine and superb Rhone vintages at the restaurant Les Terrasses de Lyon, while contemplating the city lights twinkling below. This 15th century building, has several different room categories with separate shower and tub. We recommend putting in a special request for 15th C Bldg. We also suggest a stay in one of the hotel's Junior Suites. All are equipped with comfortable bedding, LED screen with Canal +, and a seating area to relax. Some also feature a mezzanine bedroom or balcony.
