The Bauer Palladio Hotel & Spa on Giudecca Island, facing St. Mark's Square, continues the philosophical traditions of its past by redefining the ideals of grace, beauty and character. The original property, one of Andrea Palladio's famous Renaissance designs, was a sanctuary for unmarried women of virtue and style and represents a piece of Venetian history.

Under the personal care of Chair & CEO, Francesca Bortolotto Possati, the hotel has been carefully restored and updated to become a relaxing sojourn and spa without losing sight of its original identity. The grandiose space of the Great Hall has been transformed to a warm, welcoming respite to melt away the day. The 37 elegant guest rooms and 13 suites are all spacious in nature and vary in design from a fresh, pastel-palette of color in cabana-inspired style to a touch of tapestry, and hand-crafted, antique interpretations, some with garden terraces or others with lagoon views. The Bauer Palladio Hotel Venice offers first class beauty treatments including massages and specialized facial treatments. The wellness centre uses the world-known Daniela Steiner routine to provide innovative treatments for the whole body. 

You Should Consider:
The Palladio Junior Suites are warmly decorated with fine tapestries in soft colors reflecting the magical atmosphere of the surrounding gardens. Amenities include Italian marble bathrooms, a bathtub and separate walking shower, some with Jacuzzi bathtub, individually controlled air-conditioning, satellite TV, international direct-dial telephone. The rooms have King/Twin Size Bed. Average size is 40 sqm. A rolloway bed can easily be added for a nightly fee.(complementary for under 12 years of age).
