This Just In: Gorgeous Renovation at Milan’s Hotel Principe di Savoia

Starchitect Thierry Despont has wrapped up a makeover of Milan's glam Hotel Principe di Savoia-- situated on the Piazza della Repubblica in the heart of the Italian fashion capital. Here's what $50 million can do in the hands of an acclaimed* architect: a new lobby deemed "impressive" by the ladies at HotelChatter, nine new Principe suites with hand-painted frescoes, a new bar and winter garden. We hear there's a custom-made Murano glass chandelier in the lobby. Interior designer Celeste Dell'Anna transformed the Imperial Suite into a sumptuous space with a spa-like bathroom.
