Sweet New Suites at the Hotel Martinez in Cannes

The Hotel Martinez is upping the glam factor in Cannes. Overlooking the largest private beach on the Croisette, the French Riviera's Art Deco palace has debuted some gorgeous new rooms as part of its ongoing renovation project. The six "Suites Prestige Mer" (Prestige Sea View Suites) recall the spirit of the Roaring Twenties, outfitted with silks, velvet, embroidered leather, silver leaf and crystal by interior designer Marc Hertrich. These sprawling two-bedroom suites offer glorious views of the Mediterranean. Back in January, the landmark hotel-- part of the Concorde Hotels & Resorts collection-- unveiled the refurbished Suite des Oliviers, boasting an enormous private terrace facing the sea, where VIP guests can soak in the Jacuzzi or dine al fresco while ogling the scene on La Croisette below.
