Special Introductory Offer at the Mandarin Oriental Boston

October 16, 2008| By:Mary Winston Nicklin

Mandarin Oriental BostonAfter a long wait (try nine years) and $300 million, the Mandarin Oriental Boston is finally open for business. This is the fifth U.S. location for the exclusive Hong Kong brand, and it certainly ups the ante for luxury properties in Boston. It houses the most spacious standard rooms in the city, boasting rainforest showers, soaking tubs, 42 inch flatscreen TVs, designer linens, and state-of-the-art technology. With a coveted address on Boylston St in the city's Back Bay district, a fancy spa, and Asana restaurant, the Mandarin Oriental promises an unrivaled hotel experience in the city. And the rates reflect this. They are the highest in the city, starting around $625 a night.

Mandarin OrientalBut the "We Fan Boston" package (as in: We "heart" Boston) is a good deal. You can celebrate the grand debut of the Mandarin Oriental Boston until March 31, 2009 and get full American breakfast and Boston amenities along with your accommodations. You'll also receive admission for two to the Museum of Fine Arts, and one complimentary night when you pay for two consecutive nights. Prices start from $710 per night.
