Now You Can Raid the Pantry at Dublin’s Luxe Merrion Hotel
January 27, 2011By: Mary Winston Nicklin
Calling all foodies. Dublin's Merrion Hotel-- home to Ireland's only two-star Michelin restaurant and the country's largest collection of private art outside the National Gallery-- is now letting guests have the key to the pantry, so you can take home all the hand-crafted culinary delicacies you've tasted on the premises. Created in the hotel's kitchen by Executive Chef Ed Cooney and his staff, the selection of jams and preserves showcase the very best locally sourced ingredients. And not only are they delicious to eat, but they're pretty to look at, all custom-packed to reflect The Merrion's Georgian architectural style. The range of products includes Merrion chocolate and hazelnut spread, blueberry and raspberry jams, red onion marmalade, tomato relish, lemon oil, and festive items such as mulled wine and grape chutney, brandy butter and cranberry and orange sauce. The Merrion Pantry range is available for purchase year-round. Related Hotels
