The fabled California coastline is about to get another lux addition. Fairmont just announced a new luxury mixed-use development in Seaside on the Monterey Bay, scheduled for completion during 2009. At this premium coastal location, the new hotel will feature 330 rooms and suites, half of which will be spread out in charming bungalows among tall groves of trees. The hotel will also have 24,000 square feet of meeting space, a 14,000 square-foot Willow Stream spa, dining outlets, an outdoor pool and the existing 36-hole championship Bayonet and Black Horse golf course facility that Fairmont will manage. Along with the hotel, residential condos are also planned for the 440-acre site.
