A Caribbean Christmas: Fern Tree Spa Suites at Half Moon Resort

There's still room at the inn for Christmas. Half Moon-- the 400-acre luxury resort located in Rose Hall, Jamaica-- has a few Fern Tree Spa Suites available. The first of their kind in the Caribbean, these six signature beachfront spa suites were designed to reflect the island's natural beauty with nods to Jamaica's diverse past. Outfitted with top-of-the-line custom amenities, each suite has a dedicated spa area that converts to a private spa treatment room or fitness studio, offering views of the Caribbean Sea. The suites also come with five-piece bathrooms with chromotherapy whirlpool tubs, separate showers with rain showerheads and therapeutic body jets.

The holiday season at Half Moon promises to be very merry indeed. The resort has organized a two-week program full of fun activities the whole family will enjoy: rum mixology, sand castle competition, beauty and health workshops, teen activity club, golf challenge, cook-off, craft day as well as the traditional Christmas tree lighting reception. Santa and his Jamaican helper Anancy the Spider, a beloved character from Jamaican folklore, are also scheduled to make a visit on Christmas day to hand out gifts to the resort's littlest guests.
