QUESTION: My Mother and I are traveling to Miami, I will be recovering from surgery can you recommend a hotel that has a kitchen and offers quiet for my recovery?

ANSWER: The Mutiny Hotel 

The Mutiny Hotel is located approximately 17 miles from Miami International Airport on Sailboat Bay in Coconut Grove, approximately nine miles from South Beach. Local attractions include the Streets of Mayfair, Parrot Jungle and Gardens, Miami Seaquarium, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, Key Biscayne, Fairchild Tropical Garden, and downtown Miami which are all within five miles of the hotel.
Hotel amenities include on-site car rental, wireless Internet, concierge, fax/photocopy services, laundry/valet services, outdoor heated pool, whirlpool, fitness center, sauna, and steam room. Atchana's East/West Kitchen is a sophisticated hideaway located on the ground level of The Mutiny Hotel and serves an array of fresh, authentic Asian dishes, along with American Classics such as New York Strip Steak and Snapper Filets. Patrons can dine in the intimate wood-paneled 45-seat indoor dining room or outdoors, next to the poolside waterfall. In addition to full bar service,. Full service dining is also available at The Pirates Bar & Grill serving contemporary American and International cuisine. Private parties available in the restaurant or poolside. 
The Mutiny Hotel
Guest suites are decorated in a British Colonial motif and feature fully equipped kitchens, two TVs, VCRs, A/C, desks, dial-up Internet access, dual-line telephones, voicemail, hairdryers, bathroom telephones, coffeemakers with premium coffees, and bathrobes. The minimum age for check-in is 21 and that all accommodations at The Mutiny Hotel are now non-smoking. Guest suites are an average of 750 sq ft, overlooking Biscayne Bay, and have fully equipped kitchen, sleeper couch in Living area, many with private balcony for some quiet space.

Winvian's signature feature of the resort is eighteen individually architecturally designed cottages. Pictured below is the Artist Cottage. Based on a 1920's artist's bungalow with an overall feel of wood, stained glass and gingerbread, this cottage has many artistic details such as ceramic shard sculpted mirrors and custom art tile inserts in the bathroom. The bedroom boasts a custom made four poster bed with a barrel vaulted wooden canopy.
