Question: What hotels have rooms that can accommodate 1 adult and 3 kids ages 8, 10, and 12 in Orlando?

Answer: The following are a few hotel options that would be a good fit for your family of 4. The Peabody Orlando has a Deluxe Room with 2 queen beds that can have an additional rollaway bed added to the room at no extra charge for a child. The Ritz Carlton Grand Lakes has an Executive Suite with 2 double beds, 1.5 baths, 960 square feet and a separate living area that could have a rollaway bed added for an additional $15 per night. The Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress does not have a room that can accommodate a family of 4, but its Buena Vista room with a king bed can interconnect to the Buena Vista room with 2 double beds, so that may be another good option for your family. We certainly keep up with the happenings in the luxury travel world and take pride in bringing our clients the latest luxury travel news. Keep up with our blog series where we’ll be featuring luxury hotels opening to stay on top of the trends and make your reservations at the newest hotspots.

A few years ago, the Delano Hotel was the talk of the town with a plan to be a luxurious property added to the Strip in Las Vegas. With the economic downturn, this hotel never got built, but we have exciting news that it will in fact be making its debut in Sin City in 2013! THEhotel at Mandalay Bay will no longer exist and the Delano at Mandalay Bay will proudly take its place. Check out the official announcement details below:

As Delano’s second outpost in the United States, Delano Las Vegas will transport the iconic brand from the shores of South Beach to the Las Vegas Strip. Once completed, guests will experience the Delano lifestyle, and its unique blend of effortless luxury and impeccable service at the world-renowned Mandalay Bay.

In addition, Morgans Hotel Group plans to introduce several new food and beverage concepts at Mandalay Bay to be managed by The Light Group. Venues will include a casual American bistro by Chef Brian Massie, a Japanese dining destination by celebrity chef Akira Back and a new vision for Red Square. The Light Group will once again reinvent Las Vegas nightlife with a revolutionary nightclub. All venues are scheduled to open in 2013.

We love that each Delano hotel has its own style, adapting to its surroundings and offering a unique experience depending on its location without forgoing a commitment to excellent service. We look forward to the development and can’t wait to see the final outcome of this luxury hotel! Be sure to explore the other incredible hotel options available in Las Vegas!

A Sneak Peak into the James Royal Palm in Miami Beach

July 31, 2012
By: Oksana Balytsky

Featured as one of Forbes Magazine’s “top 10 most anticipated openings of 2012,” the James Royal Palm is certainly making a splash in the Miami Beach hotel arena. This luxurious beachfront property is situated in the heart of South Beach, Florida and is immersed in a new and vibrant scene. Aside from a new and swanky luxury hotel popping up in South Beach, we’re especially exited for the hotel’s pools (yes, that’s plural), its beautiful interior design, and its full service spa with salt-infused treatments. The interior of the James Royal Palm was created by Rottet Studio, and here’s what Lauren Rottet had to say about her inspiration in Boutique Design magazine: "After eating in some Cuban cafes and talking with local artists, I started thinking about Jean-Michel Basquiat (the late graffiti/neo-expressionist artist) meeting Virginia Woolf at the James and staying up long into the night talking about art and poetry." Not quite what we would imagine to be the driver of inspiration, but we certainly love the outcome and encourage you to make your reservations come this October to be among the first to experience the James Royal Palm!
