Conde Nast Traveler Reveals Results of Readers' Poll

Conde Nast Traveler has announced the winners of its 2013 Readers Poll and there are a whopping 270 Spas that were voted the best. The magazine revealed that the results were based on 46,352 vistis to hotel, resort, and cruise ship spas. 

Topping the US Top 100 Resort Spa list was Mohonk Mountain House, with Vail Cascade Resort & Spa coming in a close second. Osthoff Resort in Wisconsin was third, Sundara Inn & Spa was fourth, and Resort at Squaw Creek was fifth.

The Atlantic and Caribbean Top 25 Spa list had The Regent Palm on top (pictured right), with Nisbet Plantation Beach Club second. Rounding out the top five in this category are Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman, Jumby Bay, and Seven Stars Resort.

The list of Top 25 Spas, Mexico and Central America included Capella Ixtapa at #1, Maroma Resort and Spa is #2, Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Resort and Spa is #3, Rosewood Mayakoba is #4, and Esperanza (pictured left) is #5.

Calling All Beer Lovers to the Four Seasons Philadelphia

There’s nothing better than a cold beer after a stressful day at work, and adding travel on top of work can only lead to needing the finest beer and certainly more than one!

The Four Seasons Philadelphia certainly caught our eye as a beer lovers hot spot! It recently teamed up with Dock Street Brewing Co, a local brewery for a limited celebration of all four seasons. Witty, right? The Swann Lounge has a beautiful fire place that’s perfect for setting a relaxing environment where folks can unwind with a few beers. The four seasons beers have not yet been announced, but the line will begin with a spring brew. The Four Seasons Philadelphia will host a special event to launch its summer beer, which will perfectly coincide with the hotel’s 30th anniversary and go during beer week, June 3rd – 7th.

New Hotel Openings: The St. Regis Abu Dhabi

The St. Regis Abu Dhabi had originally set its opening date for today, January 29, 2013 but it looks like they’re pushing back the opening to April 15th. That’s quite a delay, and we certainly hope that the 283 guest rooms including 40 grand suites are nothing short of spectacular!

Question: We’re planning a family vacation to Turks and Caicos. Please provide us with the all inclusive options as well as the hotels that have a kids club.

Answer: We have 18 luxury hotels in Turks and Caicos, and depending on your dates, some of them may offer breakfast inclusive or all inclusive rates. None of the hotels in Turks and Caicos are categorized as all-inclusive resorts. The ones that have kids clubs include:

Grace Bay Club (Kids Town Program offers a variety of half and full day excursions and a range of other activities to ensure that children of all ages enjoy their Caribbean adventure.)

Sands at Grace Bay (Only offered during high season)

The Meridian Club (Only children 12 and older)

The Veranda (Using the natural environment of Turks and Caicos as a foundation, the Kids Club offers a variety of fun, stimulating and experiential activities. All this is housed in a modern facility where parents can safely leave children between ages of 3 to 12 years old.)
