Answer: We have 15 hotels in French Polynesia of which 2 are located in Tahiti. (Papeete is located on the island of Tahiti). For December 31st - January 1st, 2013, the Intercontinental Resort Tahiti in Papeete has availability and rates starting from $653 USD per night. (Full prepay, non-refundable, non-changeable Garden View room with 1 king bed). To view all of the room types and rates available, simply visit this website and enter your dates of travel. Rates will display in XPF, so click on the little calculator to the right of the rate to convert it to US dollars.

For January 1st - 7th, 2013 in Bora Bora, the Four Seasons only has one room type available and that is a Bed And Breakfast - Beach View Overwater Bungalow King Bed With Queen Sofabed starting from $1,238.92 USD per night.

For January 1st - 7th, 2013 in Bora Bora, the InterContinental Thalasso Spa Bora Bora does not have availability.

Sneak Away to Santa Barbara

By: Five Star Alliance

Considering a trip out West, but not sure that Los Angeles is for you? Consider Santa Barbara.

Located just 90 miles from Los Angeles, it’s a world away from the hustle and bustle of Tinseltown. Dubbed “The American Riviera,” Santa Barbara is located between the Santa Ynez Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. It was the focus of an eponymously named 80s soap opera, and is renowned for its Spanish revival architecture, dozens of nearby wineries, terrific shopping, and annual cultural events. While there’s a plethora of luxury hotels to choose from in this quaint seaside town, here’s a few we really like:

San Ysidro RanchSan Ysidro Ranch is located just south of Santa Barbara in the exclusive enclave of Montecito on over 500 rolling acres ofunspoiled coastal landscape in the foothills of the Santa Ynez Mountains. It is considered to be one of the most romantic hideaways in the world. Forty individually decorated private cottages, suites and ranch rooms wind along San Ysidro's hillside creek- and tree-lined paths.

Canary HotelIf being downtown is more your style, consider Canary Hotel. Located in the city center, Canary Hotel is the only luxury boutique hotel located in historic downtown. It is within walking distance for shopping at the luxury retailers, hip boutiques and offers easy access to some of the finest wineries in Santa Barbara. The Canary Hotel offers visitors the beauty of the American Riviera with a little bit of urban flair.

Inn of the Spanish Garden Inn of the Spanish Garden offers a sophisticated Spanish-Mediterranean inspired design, quality amenities and close attention to personal service. Located among the City's historic sites in its oldest neighborhood, it is just steps from fine shops, museums, theaters, corporate offices and downtown dining. This Travel + Leisure Award-winner has 23 spacious, non-smoking guestrooms and suites.

Simpson House Inn has the proud distinction of being ranked as the only five diamond bed and breakfast in North America. Nestled on an acre of English gardens and features 15 guest rooms, suites and cottages housed in an historic Victorian estate. Minutes away from the waters of the Pacific Ocean and the historic sites of Santa Barbara, Simpson House Inn is set off the tree-lined road and is surrounded by our famed garden.

Hollywood Honeymoons

By: Oksana Balytsky

Our celebrity friends we love to hate tend to have extravagant and luxurious experiences. Whether it’s a romantic getaway or family vacation, these travelers tend to embrace the go big or go home attitude and stay in the best of the best accommodations around the world. Check out where a few of our favorite A-list Hollywood stars spent their romantic honeymoons!

Jay-Z and Beyonce honeymooned at the Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain in Scottsdale, Arizona. This couple stayed in one of seven private homes equipped with a secluded patio and private pool to steer clear of paparazzi and fans.

Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas and husband Josh Duhamel escaped to the One and Only Maldives at Reethi Rah after their wedding and stayed in an incredible 2,500 square foot Grand Water Villa. The couple remained pretty active and took advantage of opportunities to snorkel, water ski, scuba dive, and kayak.

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively had a quick 1-night stay at the Inn at Little Washington in Washington, Virginia after their secret wedding near Charleston, South Carolina.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban stayed at the St. Regis Bora Bora back in 2006 for their honeymoon, and the details of what the couple did remained confidential, but we imagine they did a little bit of sun bathing, swimming, and a few other activites that took advantage of everything Bora Bora had to offer.

Planning your honeymoon? Tell us about it on Facebook or Twitter!
