For Cucina Missoni, the hotel restaurant, Rosita sifted through her recipe box and selected her 20 family favorites. Then Giorgio Locatelli, the Michelin-starred chef behind London's Locanda Locatelli restaurant and the hotels' consulting chef, worked with her to update them. Both Rosita and Locatelli are from Northern Italy's Lombardy region and grew up eating versions of the classic dishes now on Cucina Missoni's menu: pan-fried scamorza (a provolone-like cheese) served with two pestos, for instance, and grilled eggplant involtini (rolls) topped with goat cheese vinaigrette.

There's nothing quite like the smell of a great barber shop. Though it might not smell like victory, the mixture of hair product, talcum powder and desultory conversation is intoxicating. Well, Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach is looking to bring that nostalgia to the property. The resort is introducing a bespoke gentlemen's retreat, called The Willow Room, which will be tucked away in the resort's spa (because what man really wants to be seen in a spa, right?) with a classically trained barber at the ready to snip and shave. Of course, this is The Four Seasons. The first step is a facial massage with sonic brushes, followed by a scalding towel over the face, which preps the face for the shave. Thick shaving cream is then applied, then whiskers are scraped clean away with a straight-edged razor. Last, a cool towel is draped over the face, followed by a splash of aftershave. With a flat-screen TV tuned to sports (at all times we suspect) this will fast become the destination for the men of Four Seasons Palm Beach.
Although NYC's fashion week has come to a close, Four Seasons Hotel New York, in partnership with Four Seasons magazine, is launching Couture & Cocktails-- six post-fashion week showcase events featuring three top-designer labels. Every Thursday from February 19 to March 26, fashionistas can view collections by Michael Kors, Anne Fontaine or MaxMara in the Hotel's TY Lounge. Foodies take Note: Delectable items and cocktails reflective of each designer's homeland will be on the menu (think Jet Setter cocktail, Truffle Mac 'n Cheese, Champagne, canapés, Bellinis and tiramisu). Upon departure, guests will receive a special promotional offer at the designer's retail locations.
