Cafe Royal London gets Sartorial

By: Elaine Lee

Cafe Royal Hotel

Cafe Royal London
recently re-opened its doors after going through a gut renovation and has even renovated their staff uniform aesthetic in order to capture the essence of the updated hotel brand. For the sartorial refreshing, the hotel partnered with famed menswear British fashion designer Adrien Sauvage. Sauvage is famously known for his ability to transform the traditional suit game to be more casual and versatile for the everyday man. Employing his known talent in contemporary tailoring, he utilized his talents into re-designing versatile uniforms that possess qualities that are aligned with the redesign of the updated hotel brand.

The collaboration resulted in versatile uniforms complete with interchangable jackets, coats, skirts, trousers, shirts, waistcoats and jerseys. The designer gained inspiration from the monochromatic modern color schemes of the hotel rooms and paid close attention to the fits and cuts of the fabrics to represent the bespoke, individualized customer service and attention guests would receive. We think the collaboration resulted in some of the best dressed hotel employees in London.
