Following the successful launch of the W Retreat in the Maldives, the Vieques property promises to be a stunner, created by a rockstar design team. We just got word that celebrity chef Alain Ducasse is on board. Simply dripping with Michelin stars, Ducasse will oversee the W's signature restaurant called miX on the beach. This is his first venture in the Caribbean. The resto will serve up "colorful Latino Caribbean flavors with an artful French twist." There's a fitness center and Spa Chakra, and two dramatic pools look out over the white sand beaches, where a slew of watersports await.
